Introduction to Economics 3

Description

This course is an introduction to economics, explaining basic concepts and theories of modern economics, as well as discussing various economic phenomena in our society. It provides essential knowledge and methods not only for economic and industrial courses, but also for management, accounting, commerce, trade, finance, and interdisciplinary courses in the School of Business. The content starts with "What is economics," then lectures on areas of macroeconomics and microeconomics that are highly relevant to business. The actual lectures generally follow the following plan. However, depending on the progress of the lectures, the instructor may delve further into the content to enhance the understanding of the students. The course aims to explain as clearly as possible what answers economics has provided to various economic issues. In doing so, the focus will be on providing explanations that are relevant to the reality of the economy. Students are also encouraged to work on practice problems distributed approximately twice during the course. It is expected that through this course, each student will deepen their understanding of economics, engage in constructive discussions on economic issues, and be able to propose solutions.
