Description

Seminar II (Economics) builds on Seminar I, aiming to acquire the skills to capture economic phenomena using data based on the foundation of economics learned in the first and second years. In Seminar II, in preparation for writing a graduation thesis in the fourth year, students select several themes based on their interests and work in groups to create seminar papers. This course aims to cultivate the ability to engage in social scientific analysis that understands the relationships of individuals and groups with diverse perspectives, as outlined in the Diploma Policy of the Faculty of Education's Social Science and Public Citizenship Studies major. Students will acquire basic knowledge of economics and economic thinking, learn how to collect materials and data, present papers, engage in discussions, and develop the foundations necessary for writing papers. This course aims to cultivate the ability to engage in social scientific analysis that understands the relationships of individuals and groups with diverse perspectives, as outlined in the Diploma Policy.
