Modern companies impact our lives in various ways. To live in society, understanding companies’ economic realities is necessary. Management analysis using financial statements is useful for this understanding. This lecture teaches methods of management analysis using financial statements and how to interpret results. Analysis using actual company financial data will be conducted. The course is primarily classroom-based with some on-demand delivery; four online classes are planned, delivered on-demand. The lecture is based on bookkeeping theory (Level 3 commercial bookkeeping) and financial accounting theory but will explain financial statement basics, so prior courses are not prerequisites. The goal is to acquire basic management analysis methods using companies’ disclosed financial statements.
