Description

This course focuses on three key contractual clauses in international business law: choice of law, jurisdiction, and arbitration clauses. It covers the overall framework of private international law, international civil procedure law, and international commercial arbitration law, teaching how to draft these clauses with consideration of their backgrounds. Emphasis is placed on interactive exchanges with students to deepen understanding. The course aims to develop students' ability to draft contracts in international business law and related fields through self-study, equipping them with foundational knowledge and skills to appropriately address new issues in evolving international business legal contexts.
