Description

The purpose of this course is to build upon the fundamental knowledge gained in previous courses to enable a complete analysis and design of concrete beams, columns, walls, and slabs in both ultimate and serviceability limit states. Additionally, it covers statics applied to prefabricated concrete element buildings and structural calculations on concrete elements. Teaching format and activities: The course is planned for 12 weeks with 4 lessons per week. The student workload corresponds to 138 hours. Activities include theoretical lessons, self-study, consultation periods related to assignments, and student presentations of assignments. Examination prerequisites: Four out of five course assignments must be submitted and approved. If not met, the student must submit new assignments on the same topic to be eligible for re-examination. Examination type: Oral exam, 25 minutes including grading. Internal assessment. Allowed aids: All. Re-examination: Same as the regular exam. Grading: According to the 7-point grading scale.
