Description

Learning outcomes: The student has basic skills to understand the management models and methods of public organizations. The student gains an overall picture of the key features and emphases of public management reforms and renewal methods. The course introduces the following common learning objectives of the bachelor's program in administrative sciences: understanding administrative systems and the ability to lead development work that considers societal needs. The student also develops problem-solving and critical thinking skills. In terms of sustainable development, the goal is to learn to develop effective, responsible, and transparent institutions at all levels and to promote partnerships between the public and private sectors and civil society. Content: The course covers public management and administration as part of society, theories and models of public management, and public management reforms. Study and assessment methods: Learning diary (literature + lectures). Implementation methods: Lectures 12 hours and independent study. Some lectures may be in English.
