THIS SUBJECT IS TAUGHT IN BASQUE Psychology degree students need to master language and communication skills both during their studies and when entering the workforce after graduation. While studying, they will need to write and present their Final Year Project in Basque correctly and appropriately; additionally, during mandatory internships, the ability to communicate clearly and properly in Basque will be very useful. After graduation, Psychology students will pursue diverse paths: health, education, business, academia and research, among others. In all these fields, proficiency in the language and the ability to communicate clearly and precisely will be required. Therefore, it is crucial for Psychology students to develop both written and oral communication skills. The course "Communication in Basque: Psychology" (KE) is offered in the fourth year, first semester, alongside "Basque Language Rules and Usage" (EAE), also offered at the same time. Both are elective courses. In the Basque Country, students will be taught the basic tools to use the language correctly and appropriately, with special attention to the difficulties and issues that arise when writing about psychology in Basque.
