Description

Blak Australia introduces students to Aboriginal ways of knowing, being and doing as living knowledge systems. Students will confront the weight of history, including colonial policies, representations and practices, and their ongoing impacts on Aboriginal lives. They will also engage with stories of resistance, resurgence and leadership that have reshaped communities and the nation. The course builds the tools to understand how power, policy and history intersect and to recognise the strength of Blak perspectives in driving justice, culture and change. All ABOR courses are developed in alignment with the Wollotuka Institute’s Cultural Standards Framework, ensuring respect for cultural principles and practices.
