Thermodynamics and kinetics of chemical and molecular systems. Topics may include internal energy, heat, work, enthalpy, entropy, free energy, and spontaneity as well as reaction order, differential rate laws, integrated rate laws, and rate laws for multi-step processes. Prerequisite:Minimum grade of C- inCHEM135; or minimum grade of C- inCHEM271andCHEM272; or minimum grade of C- inCHEM276andCHEM277. And minimum grade of C- inMATH141.
