Description

Participants in this course practise translating literary and non-fictional texts of medium to advanced difficulty from German into English. Although some class time will be devoted to the mastery of certain interference problems in translation caused by the differences between the grammars of the two languages, the course will also involve intensive tense revision and analysis of sentence construction. Homework assignments will prepare students for the final exam, which determines the final grade of the course. More information 1 Credit hours indicate the duration of a course which is offered weekly during one semester. One credit hour equals 45 minutes.
