VO Professionalization in Fields of Education and Pedagogical Intervention - History and Theories of Action Structures

Content: At the beginning, we will look at a specific professionalized pedagogical action and ask what was helpful and what the conditions are. From there, we will address the general structure of professionalized action and its relevance in history. A significant topic is the individual prerequisites for professionalized action. Certain educational processes are necessary (professionalization), which must be preceded by institutional developments, particularly the establishment of universities as places of scientific education. Methods: Remembering, reading, working through, discussing texts, discussing cases, reviewing. Learning outcome: Students know and understand professionally educational and developmental actions and can explain various perspectives and concepts as well as terminology from research in the field of pedagogical professionalization. They are fundamentally familiar with the history of these helping activities and understand how professional action has both institutional prerequisites and complex educational processes (professionalization processes) in academic and practical contexts as prerequisites. They are capable of critically analyzing scientific texts from the fields of profession and field research on processes of education, socialization, and learning.
