Description

Organizations providing social services face diverse challenges. Clients as well as stakeholders from business, politics, culture, society, and funders expect appropriate solutions, contemporary offerings, and cost-effective social innovations. These should be transdisciplinary, multiprofessional, and inter-institutional. Leaders are required to plan, steer, and control organizations accordingly and continuously engage in negotiation processes with involved stakeholder groups. The module is based on the 'Social Impact Model,' which starts from a social problem and a legitimate need for action and explains various planning, leadership, implementation, and networking levels. Building on this, the Social Business Plan enables actors in a social organization to plan an innovation and adequately and appropriately involve diverse stakeholders. The module is designed as a constructive-critical engagement with management and service models from a social work perspective.
