Description

Leadership is widely regarded as key to organizational survival in strategic business environments characterized by rapid and complex change. The teaching and learning methods emphasize guiding students toward a demonstrable appreciation of the relevance and potential impact of leadership in changing environments such as virtual teams, diversity, demographic change, and shared leadership. The demand for sustainability for multinational corporations and SMEs is a cross-cutting theme in this module. No single definition of 'leadership' is proposed. The overall learning objective is to develop a critical discourse on the nature and relevance of leadership across different business sectors and diverse strategic contexts, involving in-depth discussion of case studies.
