Description
This course offers an overview of contemporary theories and concepts at the intersection of strategy and technology. The different theories and concepts are discussed in terms of their content, limitations, and applications. The course discusses topics such as industry and technological changes, ambidexterity theory, corporate strategies in the face of technological change, and an overview of strategic management in the digital era. Objectives: Students who have successfully finished this course will be able to: explain different theoretical perspectives at the intersection of strategy and technology change; apply different theoretical perspectives to the strategic dilemmas or challenges that arise from technological change; compare theories of strategic management in the digital era.
