Description

This course provides students with basic knowledge on insect physiology and ecology such as influence of light on insects, defensive strategies against predators, internal morphology (i.e. digestive/excretory system, respiratory system, circulatory system and nervous system), host selection mechanisms, mating behaviors, ecdysis/metamorphosis, and diapause.
