Overview: The study of business history has developed interdisciplinarily through its relationship with various social sciences such as economics, management, sociology, and political science, in addition to economic history and business studies. It explores changes in entrepreneurial and corporate management activities, as well as their roles in society and economic development from various perspectives. Emphasizing the proactive aspects of managers and companies, it provides a deeper understanding of modern society from a business perspective by analyzing management events that influenced contemporary society, the generation process of corporate actions, and mechanisms. Furthermore, it offers a foundation for considering "What is management?", "What is a company?", and "What is business?" by examining individual reactions and decision-making of entrepreneurs, managers, or middle managers facing challenges and opportunities in the management environment shaped by production technology and economic possibilities of the time. Recently, amid significant changes in the management environment due to economic globalization and technological innovations such as IT, the relationship between changes in large companies and the rise of startups and their underlying institutions has become a major theme.
