Prerequisites: Statistics for economy students A The course covers Statistical inference by the following topics: 1) Descriptive Statistics , application in R 2) Point Estimation, unbiased estimates, MSE 3) Confidence Intervals for the mean and for proportion 4) Hypothesis Testing, key concepts 5) Testing hypothesis on the mean and on proportion in the normal model 6) Comparing the means of two samples - paired and independent t-tests. Application in R. 7) Chi-square test for association
