Description

This course focuses on obtaining useful information (statistics) through data collection and organization to infer the characteristics or properties of natural or social phenomena, which further enables understanding causal relationships among variables. The course emphasizes descriptive statistics, probability theory and distributions, sampling distributions, and statistical estimation.
