Description

This course will examine a wide range of social cognitive topics (e.g., reasoning, decision making, attribution, language, self-concept, cognitive styles, emotion, relationship and subjective well-being) from a cultural perspective by drawing on a wide range of cross-cultural studies. Learning Hours: 114 (12 Lecture, 24 Seminar, 78 Private Study) Requirements: Prerequisite PSYC 203 /3.0 and PSYC 241 /3.0. Assessment/Exam Context: Course assessment and examinations vary by course; Queen's notes that eligible exchange students whose first language is not English may receive extra final-exam time. Exchange Registration Note: Arts and Science courses are open to exchange students subject to prerequisites and space. Most courses should be in Arts and Science; other faculties may be limited. Education, Medicine, and Nursing are not open to incoming exchange enrolment.
