Description
Developing usable software requires that human factors be considered throughout the design and development process. This course introduces a series of techniques for development and evaluating usable software, and shows how these techniques can be integrated into a process for software development. Learning Hours: 120 (36 Lecture, 84 Private Study) Requirements: Prerequisite Registration in a School of Computing Plan and a minimum grade of C- (obtained in any term) or a 'Pass' (obtained in Winter 2020) in CISC 124 /3.0 and CISC 235 /3.0. Exclusion CMPE 325 /3.0. Assessment/Exam Context: Course assessment and examinations vary by course; Queen's notes that eligible exchange students whose first language is not English may receive extra final-exam time. Exchange Registration Note: Arts and Science courses are open to exchange students subject to prerequisites and space. Most courses should be in Arts and Science; other faculties may be limited. Education, Medicine, and Nursing are not open to incoming exchange enrolment.
