Description

This is a course on the metatheory of first-order predicate logic. It focuses on the strengths and limits of first-order languages, their semantics, and the calculi for first-order logic, along with some first-order theories, such as Peano Arithmetic and Zermerlo-Fraenkel set theory. It also explores these strengths and limitations, and their consequences, from a philosophical point of view.
