Teaching Objectives: This course is intended to guide students toward improving their English learning abilities and subsequently improving their reading, comprehension, and oral presentation skills on professional matters. Teaching Content: The objectives of the course include: 1) Enhance students’ vocabulary content; 2) Develop the skills of reading technical papers in efficient ways; 3) Improve the fluency of oral communication; 4) Ultimately, students would cultivate a habit of using English as part of their daily lives. Grading: Attendance, participation, quizzes & assignments (Vocabulary 20%), Final exam.
