Description

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the practical application of modern field techniques in archaeology, including excavation, recording, and analysis of sites, artifacts, and related material. This course will require travel to an archaeological site, usually during the summer for six weeks. Students will be responsible for paying all costs, including travel, associated with the field school experience. Prerequisite(s): ANTH 2104 and consent of the department.
