Description

The course aims to introduce the interaction and workflow between different digital tools used for intermediate 3D modelling and sketching, to support the design and presentation of architectural projects. Knowledge and understanding For a passing grade the student must be able to understand and explain the similarities and dissimilarities between differing digital tools for 3D sketching and modelling. Competences and skills For a passing grade the student must understands and have a capability to work with the basic methods of intermediate digital 3D sketching and modelling in programs like Rhinoceros and Autodeks Revit. be able to produce a simple parametric design. be able to export this design to a CAD program like Autodesk Revit for further detail design. Judgement and approach For a passing grade the student must be able to demonstrate a critical approach to various methods and techniques in 3D sketching and modelling. This course introduces more advanced digital tools for sketching and modelling through lectures and guided exercises. Tutorials are selected to be relevant to a more advanced level of design and visualization of architecture. LTH programme course for Architecture. Choice group: mandatory.
