The course aims to introduce digital tools for image processing, and thereby enable and facilitate the presentation of architectural projects. Knowledge and understanding For a passing grade the student must be able to describe and employ basic features of digital tools for image processing and presentation. Competences and skills For a passing grade the student must Understand and have a capability to work with the basic methods of digital imaging and digital layout work in programs such as Adobe Phototshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Be able to work with photographs and illustrations, as part of a digital presentation of architectural projects. Be able to compile a simple but communicative, graphic presentation with a combination of images, text and drawings. Judgement and approach For a passing grade the student must Be able to demonstrate a critical approach to different presentation methods and techniques in image processing and presentation. The course introduces basic digital tools for image processing, imaging and layout, through lectures and guided exercises. Tutorials are selected to be relevant to architectural presentations.
