Sustainable Development Accounting

Description

This course introduces the student to the issues of sustainable development and their impact on accounting and the role of the accountant within organizations. The student is led to better understand the challenges of sustainable development. They are also expected to master the effects of including sustainable development issues in an organization's strategy, concepts related to environmental cost management and eco-control, and the measurement and evaluation of financial and non-financial performance in the context of sustainable development.
