Academic Presentation II

Description

This course focuses on presentation skills for academic settings such as classes, seminars, or conferences. Students will learn various elements of successful speeches, including establishing authority and appealing to an audience's logic or emotions, and work to incorporate these elements into their own presentations. Through a combination of short, informal presentations, Q&A sessions, and a final formal research presentation, students will gain confidence to present with ease and professionalism. Class discussions will foster critical thinking and the ability to express opinions orally in impromptu settings. Peer feedback and reflection will help students refine their presentation skills. Expression and pronunciation will be addressed as needed.
