Description

This course aims to understand the concepts, methods, and characteristics of physics, which is a typical natural science. Primarily focusing on mechanics, the course incorporates experiments as appropriate. Through the process of making predictions, conducting experiments to verify them, students will accumulate experiences in learning science empirically and will also touch upon the systematic mathematical and logical understanding of natural sciences. The goal of this course is not to provide systematic physics education as a foundation for science majors, but to offer "physics as a liberal art" with an emphasis on science introductory education. It is recommended for those who do not plan to specialize in physics-related fields in the future.
