Description

At the end of the course, students will be able to read and understand a variety of texts in German: e.g. newspaper articles, scientific articles, literary texts, philosophical and theological texts from different periods (e.g. Kant, Hegel, Goethe, Adorno, Safranski,…). They will also know how to use digital resources to support the reading process. The course focuses exclusively on receptive skills (no training for listening, writing or speaking): students should be able to respond to questions of reading comprehension on a given text.
