Description

Objectives At the end of the course, the student will have a basic understanding of the history, institutions, doctrines, rituals, and spirituality of Hinduism. He will also be able to get a living experience of what Hinduism teaches during the course. Theology students will come to understand that Hinduism is also a religion with a specific theology, even when its expression is so manifold. Students of religious studies will see more clearly how Hinduism relates to other religious traditions, and in what it differs. Students of philosophy will understand how close Hindu worldviews and Western philosophy can be.
