Description

Present some basic concepts of statistics and concentrate on linear models At the end of this course, the student should be able to: - Gain insight into basic statistical concepts (distributions, hypothesis testing, …) - Dispose of and appropriately use a range of statistical modelling techniques (linear regression, logistic regression, analysis of variance, general linear models) - Correctly interpret the result of a statistical analysis - Use R for the computational aspects of the methods
