~~The student - Know the basic concepts of general chemistry and can explain in their own words - Can understand and solve simple chemical problems - Knows the structure, properties and basic activity of organic and bioorganic compounds The course helps the student - learn to think critically and learn to ask questions - process information critically This basic course will give students the essential elements of a corpuscular interpretation of material processes. The intention is that the knowledge can be made operational in other courses in the curriculum (biochemistry, biology, physiology).
