Description

To acquire insight into and gain experience with data structures and algorithms, that are generally applied to the development of software systems. To be familiar with generally applied data structures like lists, trees and graphs. To acquire insight into diverse representations of data structures, to have insight into the advantages and the disadvantages of different representations and be able to implement a few of these representations. To have insight into the important algorithms for the manipulation of the data structures and be able to implement a few of these algorithms. To assess the properties of generally applied algorithms, for example time- and space-complexity.
