Transport Phenomena
Faculty of ArchitectureFaculty of Engineering Science
Description
This course focuses on fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and mass transfer. The general fundamental concepts and methods of applied physics are presented. The aim is to sharpen the student's understanding and intuition to distinguish between important and less important mechanisms. The student can explain why and how heat, mass, and momentum are transferred. The student can formulate heat, mass, and energy balances and solve the corresponding equations. The student can apply these balances to typical problems related to physical transport phenomena.
