Description

Upon completion of this course, students have reached the following goals: Students know the objectives of and the differences between the following data-analytical techniques: simple and multiple linear regression analysis; GLM (General LInear Models); logistic regression analysis; principal components analysis and exploratory factor analysis. Students are able to describe the statistical background of these techniques Students can identify the most appropriate technique to answer a particular research question, and are able to apply it to existing databases using R. These goals will be communicated to the students at the start of the lectures.
