Description

Upon completing this course: students have insight into the assumptions and the main characteristics of descriptive and inferential statistics. students can determine which type of analysis is appropriate for a problem when confronted with a specific empirical problem, taking into account the limits (and possibly robustness) of certain techniques. students can carry out these analyses independently and fluently on provided dates using R, and adequately interpret the results. These objectives are communicated to the students at the start of the lectures.
