Upon completion of this course, students have achieved the following objectives: • Students can name and recognise the characteristics of an academic text; • Students can read and interpret an academic text, thereby enhancing their academic text comprehension; • Students can write a coherent text in an academic style; • Students can give a presentation in an academic setting. These objectives are communicated to the students at the start of the course.
