Description

Upon completion of this course: The student has a basic knowledge and understanding of the research field of communication sciences and can relate research findings. The student acquires a first insight into theories that explain the production, consumption and operation of the media. The student can critically and theoretically interpret the everyday reality of the media and communication. The student understands the operation, phases and aspects of communication processes and functions and can discuss these. These objectives will be communicated to the students at the start of the lectures.
