Description
This course offers an introduction to Business English, with an emphasis on vocabulary acquisition and written and spoken skills. By the end of the course, students should be able to perform the following tasks in English: understand and write news reports on economic topics (e.g. on the BBC website) use the most frequent business vocabulary (words and collocations) in oral and written contexts express a point of view about an economic topic write an internal report present a company (products/services and ERS) write business emails describe economic trends on the basis of a graph or table avoid common errors (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation)
