Description
Upon completion of this course, the student is able to: define and clarify the principles and concepts underlying the international business strategy of multinational firms; better recognize institutional and cultural diversity in the world and the opportunities and challenges that such diversity entails for multinational firms; describe the strengths and weaknesses of key academic contributions on international business strategy; apply concepts and theoretical and empirical insights on international business strategy to real world cases of multinational firms; better function within a team whose members may have different worldviews, norms, values, and ethical principles. By acquiring these skills, students will be better able to understand, develop, and implement successful international business strategies, i.e. strategies that enhance the performance of multinational organizations.
