Description

To thoroughly familiarize the students with the principles of descriptive statistics, the theory of probability and inferential statistics. Due to the uncertainty that accompanies every corporate decision, a profound knowledge of the theory of probabitity and statistics is indispensable to an applied economist. To understand the language of statisticians, to recognize the applicability of the concepts and techniques, to select the right solution method for a given problem and to apply the method in a correct way, also by means of a software application.
