The course aims that the student Understand how sustainability regulation and stakeholder demand is driving change in doing business; Understand how to analyze and integrate the impacts of climate change and sustainability targets into financial planning and analysis; Explain how financial statements are affected by climate-and social related matters; Determine the factors that dictate how investors use sustainability information; Analyze, communicate and integrate sustainability assessment results into financial planning and analysis of the company; Understand what a well governed firm is and how governance contributes to long term value creation. Should be able to discuss the main reasons why governance is relevant What the main instruments are to reach a well governed firm (in Belgium and an international context)
