Description
OBJECTIVES After successful completion of this course, the student will have acquired: A sound understanding of the different aircraft propulsion systems, with the main focus put on jet engines. Insight into the layout and functioning of turboreactor powerplants. The capacity to understand and evaluate the thermodynamic operating principles of turboreactor powerplants. Background knowledge necessary to explain the selection of a propulsion system on aircraft.
