To provide insight into the forces exerted by static fluids and into the transport phenomena that occur in the flows of fluids. To understand, be able to analyse and explain how these phenomena take a place in nature and in technology. To learn the skills for the calculation of fluid mechanical processes. * To teach the students how typical problems in fluid mechanics are tackled and solved.
