Description

- gain insight in the fundamentals of Human-Computer Interaction and how these can be applied in the development of user friendly software applications - understand that user interfaces should be developed in function of the users and the tasks that need to be supported - understand that the methods and insights in Human-Computer Interactions have their limitations and that these should be understood more as guidelines than as precise prescriptions that would be guaranteed to lead to a good result - recognize how other disciplines besides computer science, (experimental psychology, electronics, graphical design, ergonomics, etc.) have an important contribution to make in this domain; - be able to use a wide variety of techniques and methods to evaluate user interfaces, developed by others or not
