Gain insight in the fundamentals of Human-Computer Interaction and how these can be applied in the development of user friendly software applications Understand that user interfaces should be developed in function of the users and the tasks that need to be supported Understand that the methods and insights in Human-Computer Interactions have their limitations and that these should be understood more as guidelines than as precise prescriptions that would be guaranteed to lead to a good result Recognize how other disciplines besides computer science, (experimental psychology, electronics, graphical design, ergonomics, etc.) have an important contribution to make in this domain; Be able to use a wide variety of techniques and methods to evaluate user interfaces, developed by others or not
