Description
This course aims to familiarize students with the specificities of (pre)modern French culture and literature, from the XVIIth to the XXth century. By examining the (changing) sociocultural, discursive and aesthetic modes of women's writing, the course also intends to develop students' reading skills and their use of different methods and theoretical frameworks when analyzing more restricted phenomena that form the focus of the course.
