French Business Communication: Foundations
Description
Upon completion of this course, the student is able to: recognise and name differences in style and register in Business French; use the specific vocabulary and terminology and the specific word combinations of Business French in oral and written communication; apply the writing techniques for writing texts in Business French, i.e. press releases, directives and memos, business letters, descriptions of figures, letters of application and CV; apply oral communication skills, i.e. telephone conversations, meetings, presentations and job interviews. These aims are communicated to the students at the beginning of the academic year.
