Dutch Business Communication
Description
Upon completion of this course, the students are able to apply principles of effective communication to a number of oral and written genres in (Dutch) business communication. the student is able to communicate effectively in a business context in Dutch; the student is able to explain, recognise and apply the requirements of a number of genres in business communication; the student is able to write good and readable formal letters (e.g. letter of application, letter of goodwill, letter of complaint, reply to a complaint); the student is able to apply the oral requirements for business communication in his/her own (business) communication; the student is able to reflect on business communication from a more theoretical perspective. These aims are communicated to the students at the beginning of the academic year.
