At the end of this course, students are able to: - describe the evolution and the role of the Italian language in a broad historical and geographical perspective; - recognise, describe and explain the phonetic, phonological, morphological and syntactic principles and characteristics of the Italian language; - recognise, describe and explain the fundamental principles of Italian pragmatics.
